What is SDXC?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

SDXC memory cards are compliant with the latest SD Association 3.0 specification. Featuring with exFAT system file, SDXC storage capacity increases from 32GB to 2TB. In addition to larger storage capacity, SDXC provides higher transfer speeds to support the latest consumer and industrial devices.

Because both SD and SDHC adopt FAT32 file system, SDXC is not backwards compatible with host devices that only take SD (128MB to 2GB) or SDHC.(4GB to 32GB) cards.

To ensure compatibility, look for the SDXC logo on both the card and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
